Weekend in Belgrade - Sightseeing, Danube cruise, Trip to Vojvodina

1st day - Arrival in Belgrade. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation. Overnight.

2nd day - Breakfast. Sightseeing town: Kalemegdan fortress, Republic Square, National theater, National museum, Nikola Tesla museum, Belgrade museum, Ivo Andric house, Knez Mihailova street, Terazije Square, Federal Assembly, St. Marco's church, St. Sava Temple, Memorial centre Josip Broz Tito... Free time. In late afternoon hours visiting Belgrade from the rivers by boat - 2 hours. End of the day in one of the national restaurants in old quarter Skadarlija where dinner will be served. Overnight.

3rd day - Breakfast. Departure for Vojvodina. Stop in Sremski Karlovci [60km from Belgrade]. Visit old Patriarchate and Cathedral. After little break visiting monastery Novo Hopovo - XVI century. Departure for Petrovaradin, old medieval fortress on Danube. Visit fortress with great panoramic view on Novi Sad. Lunch break /Optional/. Sightseeing Novi Sad - economic, political and cultural centre of Vojvodina, and seat of Serbian cultural and literary society Matica Srpska: Bridges on Danube, National theater, central city zone... Back to Belgrade. Free afternoon. Dinner in one of the national restaurants. Overnight.

4th day - Breakfast. Free time. Transfer to airport at 12:00h. Visit aeronautic museum.

Danube Cruise Program - 8 days

Day 1: Friday [46km] - Downstream
Arrival at Belgrade Airport. Transfer to the port. Boarding the URAN yacht. Cruise to Smederevo [3 - 4 hours]. Dinner and rest.

Day 2: Saturday [58km] - Downstream
Breakfast. Sightseeing of the fortress and the museum. Cruise to Gradiste - Srebrno jezero. Quick stop in Ram. Lunch in a fish cottage. Departure for Gradište. Accommodation in the hotel Srebrno jezero. Dinner and Rest.

Day 3: Sunday [22 kilometara] - Downstream
Breakfast. Sightseeing of Srebrno jezero. Cruise to Golubac. Accommodation in hotel Golubovac. Lunch. Sightseeing if the Golubac Fortress [Jerina's City]. Swimming. Dinner and rest. Instead of swimming there is an option for a visit to Tuman

Day 4: Monday [51km] - Downstream
Breakfast. Cruise to Donji Milanovac. Entrance and cruise through scenic Đerdap Gorge. Accommodation in hotel Lepenski Vir. Lunch. Sightseeing of the paleolite and neolite archeological digs. Dinner and rest.

Day 5: Tuesday [48km] - Downstream/Upstream
Breakfast. Cruise through the small and large pot of Đerdap Gorge up to Tabula Traiana. Anchor in Strbac. Land transfer to Strbac Monastery. Ethnic Lunch. Return to Donji Milanovac. Dinner and rest.

Day 6: Wednesday [70km]
Breakfast. Cruise to Gradiste. Breakfast in Dobra Bay with a visit to the village. Continue cruising to Srebrno jezero. Accommodation, dinner and rest.

Day 7: Thursday [120km + Sightseeing of Belgrade]
Breakfast. Departure for Belgrade by minibus. Lunch in Belgrade. Sightseeing tour of the city and NATO bombing ruins. Accommodation in hotel. Goodbye Party with dinner and music on one of the famous rafts in Belgrade. Rest.

Sightseeing four days of old Serbian town

Day 1th: Arrival in Belgrade. Accommodation in the hotel; Dinner; Spare time; Overnight.

Day 2nd: Belgrade - Valjevo - National Park Tara - Belgrade: Breakfast. Sightseeing with a professional tourist guide. Route: the City Parliament, the Federal Parliament, Terazije Square, Republic Square, Students' Square, Belgrade Fortress, City Gate ["Varos kapija"], New Belgrade, Topcider Hill, Dedinje, Oslobodjenje Square, Slavija Square, Nikola Pasic Square.

Trip continues towards Valjevo. Sight - seeing: Old Serbian town Tesnjar, Muselin's Residential House, Poetry Square ["Trg Pesnistva"] - a monument dedicated to a Serbian poet Desanka Maksimovic, Vojvoda Misic Square [a Serbian field marshal]; visit to the monasteries Celije and Lelic. Day 3rd: Tara Mountain. Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Perucac; visit to the river Vrelo with beautiful waterfalls, and the river godina [365m long; godina: year]. Continuing our trip, we visit Mitrovac and "carpet meadow" and observation deck "Banjska stena". Return to hotel; dinner; overnight.

Day 4th Mountains Tara - Zlatibor - Mokra Gora. Mountain Tara: Breakfast in the hotel; checkout. Excursion to the Rača Monastery and the spring of thermal water "Ladjevac" located near the monastery. Trip with beautiful panorama sight - seeing continues towards Zlatibor Mountain. Arrival to Mokra Gora.

Visit to the Drvengrad, film city of Emir Kusturica. Watching the projection of the latest documentary film by Emir Kusturica. Lunch is planned [optionally] in the ethno restaurant of this unique film city.

Boarding the old type train "Cira" and driving along the famous "Sarganska osmica" - the narrow - gage railroad, shaped in number eight, long 15km with 22 tunnels, many viaducts and bridges and it represents the greatest tourist attraction in Europe at the moment. Stops are on the places with spectacular views, and also on the place where film "Zivot je čudo" [Life is a miracle] by Emir Kusturica is made. Return to Zlatibor and accommodation in the hotel. Dinner; Overnight.

Day 5th: Mountain Zlatibor - Belgrade. Breakfast. Checkout.
Visit to the Ovcarsko - kablarska Gorge, called "Serbian Mount Athos" for its unique monasteries. Arrival in Belgrade in the afternoon.
